While enrollments at Islamic establishments are surging, most HEIs in Indonesia are secular. Only about sixteen percent of institutions had been religion based in 2015, together with 11 public universities and 95 personal universities. Together they enrolled approximately eleven % of the whole student inhabitants in 2013.
